This article provides details on transferring calls with UC-One related topics. If you are on an active call, the UC-One desktop application provides you with various methods to transfer a call.

Transfer Now (Blind/Cold Transfer)

The Transfer Now (also known as Blind or Clod Transfer) option allow you to transfer a call without announcing the call to the recipient. To perform this type of transfer:

  1. While on an active call, select the Click to Transfer Call icon.

  3. Enter the contacts name, partial name or the phone number of the person you wish to transfer the call to.
  4. Then click Transfer Now. This will place the transfer without announcement to the recipient.

Attended Audio (Warm/Consulted Transfer)

The Attended Audio transfer will allow you to place an audio call to the recipient completing the transfer. To perform an Attended Audio Transfer:

  1. While on an active call, select the Click to Transfer Call icon.
  2. Enter the contacts name, partial name or the phone number of the person you wish to transfer the call to.
  3. Next, click Attended Audio.
  4. Announce the call to the recipient, then select Complete Transfer. This will complete the Attended Audio Transfer.

Attended Video (Transfer with Video)

If you are on an active Video Call, you can perform an Attended Video Transfer to another Contact within the company Directory who is also equipped with a video device. To do this while on an active Video Call:

  1. Select the Click to Transfer Call icon.
  2. Enter the contacts name, partial name or the phone number of the person you wish to transfer the call to.
  3. Next, click Attended Video. Announce the Video call to the recipient, then select Complete Transfer. This will complete the Attended Video Transfer.
