Introduction

The Calling Admin Portal (or Rialto Enterprise Portal/REP) was introduced to provide an enhanced customer administration tool that more seamlessly manages multiple location customers. It provides an enterprise view of most elements, whereas the legacy My Account/My Site was more site/location focused. An updated design layout provides a modern look and feel that is easier to navigate. Since version 22, most new enhancements have only been made only in the Calling Admin Portal (REP).

Additional Functionality

These functions are only available the Calling Admin Portal (REP):

  • Full Enterprise view of all users, numbers, devices and services.

  • Quick Start section – A wizard that provides simple and fast configuration for specific activities with the intention of getting service quickly up and running.
    • Set Up a User – A wizard to add a user with a minimum configuration. Additional user configuration can be done by editing a user in the users page.
    • Handling Incoming Call Distribution – A wizard to guide the admin when setting up the handling of calls to the main number.
    • Add a Phone – May be used when assigning a device that is not necessarily assigned to a named user such as a lobby phone or conference room phone.
    • Set Up Office Hours – A quick way to set up customized schedule to be used for Automated Attendant, Call Center and/or selective forwarding.

  • Orders and Inventory panel – Provides a quick view of quantities for Orders, Stations, Services and Numbers. An administrator sees a count of important items without going to a different page and running a report.

  • Service Assurance panel – If enabled, in the Service Provider Portal, this section provides a quick view of the service quality at each Site. Currently it works in conjunction with PacketSmart probes but in the future it will utilize network provided information which will not require a probe.

  • Support for extension-only users.
  • Quantity counts in left-hand navigation for numbers, devices, and services.
  • Customizable Columns – Admins can change the column layout in Numbers, Devices and User pages to meet their needs. These settings are memorized for future sessions.
  • Support for Dubber call recording.
  • Location Codes – Enables multi-location enterprises to configure their private dial plans for on-net call routing.
  • Call Forwarding (Always and Selective) for Automated Attendants, Hunt Groups and Call Queues.
  • User Portal access – Provides admin access to a user’s portal (My Phone).
  • Bulk Edit of User Call Forwarding.
  • Bulk device upload.
  • Custom Directories (available in R22.7) – Admins can create custom directories available to Enterprise and Site users.

Set Up a User

A wizard in Phone Assignments when editing a telephone number

Set Up a User wizard under Quick Start section of the Dashboard or Set Up a User button in the Users page. An email address and user ID is required.

Add Devices

Add Ported Device button in Device Management tab.

Call History

User Features

In User Features tab and is managed by feature

Site Services are listed by Service.

Advanced Services page with sub tabs grouped by function.

Searches

Site specific searches with free-form fields without criteria.

Supports searching all Sites when on All Sites view. Granular searching based on selected criteria.
